Posting this while waiting for it to stop raining so I can burn these thorns
It only started raining when I arrived at the tower and it's been going on for what seems like forever. Pretty sure the game does this on purpose...

Ended up building a roof and that worked. Was that the point of the tower? Does the rain actually last forever?
26 0 ReplyIt was intended to make you build the roof so you could start the fire in front of the door.
24 0 ReplyYeah that's the "puzzle" for this tower I think. At least that's what I had to do

7 0 ReplyI found a nearby campfire under a roof and just slept until it stopped raining. Didn’t even think to build a roof over the thorns.
7 0 ReplyI'm surprised it stopped raining. Even the locks say it rains non-stop
11 0 ReplyYea I thought the rain was part of the “puzzle” but figured I’d give a couple rounds of waiting at the campfire a go and it worked.

My husband did this too. I had built the roof, so I was surprised as hell when just waiting actually worked.
3 0 ReplyThis is what I did, and I only did that cause I messed up my long roof that I was building so just sat at the campfire till noon and it was sunny.

Most likely. That's the solution I also had to use because it just wouldn't stop raining - and there have been areas with deliberate perma-rain in BotW as well, so I wouldn't be surprised if they reused that setup in the sequel.
3 0 ReplyMakes sense that the rain is the puzzle, but it wasn't immediately obvious to me since the rain started after I had already burned away a few thorns.
