Voters cast ballots until 9pm in elections that could set country on different course after Mark Rutte’s four consecutive governments
The PVV is predicted to win 35 out of 151 seats, followed by GL-PvdA (left progressive) at 25, previous ruling party VVD (right) at 24 and newcomer NSC (centre conservative) at 20.
Calling the PVV conservative is not exactly right. Socially they are conservative, specifically anti immigration. But fiscally they are actually the opposite. They are in favor of cheaper public health insurance, better care for elderly, higher minimum wage.
