What were you doing before? Just chugging it?
Not OP, but it is used in many cocktails and sometimes used to ‘rinse’ the glass for aromatic purposes in drinks. It doesn’t have to be consumed as an absinthe drip or buttchugged, there are many other options.
Simple syrup. Chugging it would be a bad time haha
