[Ottawa Citizen] Wildfire smoke expected to return Wednesday-Thursday
Ottawa residents will get a break from smog after dangerous air quality levels returned as a result of forest fires in northern Quebec.
Enjoy a day of better air quality due to the rain. Environment Canada meteorologist Peter Kimball is quoted:
There will be a risk of showers and thunderstorms on Tuesday into Wednesday. That weather is predicted to bring a shift in wind patterns that should return air quality to good levels once again later this week, after another period of smoke clouding the sky Wednesday into Thursday.

This start to the summer has just been crap. It's been cyclically too hot, then too rainy, then too dry and then too fiery. I guess this will just become the new normal for Ottawa as the climate emergency really takes hold.
I'd argue it's better than the derecho we had last year lol
