If you're referring to Jerboa I completely agree. The idea is cool, but I find myself either disinterested in what's new, or bored of seeing the same posts over and over. I don't know if this is a problem with the app itself (which does need work) the lack of community compared to reddit, or just Lemmy's framework of a social media, which is very confusing. Not to mention you can only view communities or whatever if someone in the same instance as you is already following it. I feel like a lot of Lemmy's framework cuts it short of what it could be, one, and I also feel like the lack of a very large and dedicated community is making the experience not as enjoyable.
Update Jerboa to 0.0.35, was released 7h ago, and it's already a major step forward. Currently only on github. It will give you an error about the server version but works regardless.
And since Sync is being ported over as we speak ([email protected]) with an MVP announced in ~6 weeks, that will be a major boost.
