  • Why Venus? It's completely uninhabitable. I learned that when I was probably around 6 years old. Billionaires need to stop considering themselves scientists just because they can pay people to make them look smart

    • Venus has some things going for it, like a relatively earth-like gravity of 8,87 m/s² (about 90% of earths) , an atmosphere blocking radiation and being relatively close to earth . The proposed colony would float in a part of the atmosphere that is less hot and dense than the surface. It still wouldn't be very useful, you can't utilise the resources on the surface. And it would be obviously very risky.
