This is me. Because of this other people tend to just give me Steam gift cards for my bday and Christmas
I think money is a better gift. It doesn't force you to use it at a specific provider. With that said, I'd still use the money on Steam, I'm a big fan of the platform
If people gave me money, I'd just pay bills and put it into savings.
