Yall haven't been on a road trip and it shows
It shows that Americans have not recently experienced a wide network of trains that take them everywhere inexpensively. Freedom comes in many ways.
that would be so nice, but the cult of the car won't let it happen
You haven't been to a country with a functioning transit system and it shows. (ps, u can do road trips in those countries, too)
Trips are much more enjoyable when you can just kick back, relax and look out the window on the smooth train ride.
You can have road trips and not have to drive everywhere everyday.
