Just watched it and I enjoyed it. Just the right amount of gore, jump scares and exposition to keep things moving and interesting.

I liked it. The actors and they’re obvious “American accents that somehow all matched each other in a location that was definitely not California” was the only thing i wasn’t thrilled about.
The action was good. Deadites were great. Not sure if Raimi and Campbell will be doing a slightly different director for each entry in the franchise - but they chose well this time and wouldn’t mind seeing them come back (too lazy to look up the director name).
