US regulator drops some emissions disclosure requirements from draft climate rules
In particular, they're dropping the requirement to disclose scope 3, or emissions from use of corporate products.

The maps don't really change much here; this is about emissions resulting from use of products. Eg: if you sell gas cars, you'd disclose an estimate of the lifetime emissions they create as people use them.
