Did I say all of the greed comes from this particular stock buyback? Did I say all of the greed comes from franchise fees? No. Try thinking it through.
Not sure he understand they’re not employees of Pizza Hut. They’re employees of the franchise.
I also don’t think he understands how low margin food is. If an employee doesn’t generate enough value they are gone. It’s not a charity.
What's your point? That pizza hut saved up revenue and was able to buy back shares instead of refunding franchises so they could afford delivery drivers for a year?
The money that went into the stock buy backs (paying the rich) came from the value created by the laborers, when it instead should have fairly gone to the laborers so they could have a living wage. The reason it hasn't is greed.
This is one of the dumbest things I’ve ever read. You just stated companies should be non-profits. That means they wouldn’t pay taxes, they couldn’t expand, they’d have no safety net.
It isn’t greed to have a profit.
