  • Any Smart Prepaid subscribers here? Already registered my SIM last January 2023 and upon checking it last April through their portal it was verified, but it needed me to submit my info again, and yes I did it. Recently, I checked it again and guess what? Magsusubmit na naman ako. May dalawang control number/reference na ako, at ni-isa walang tumawag o text galing mismo sa Smart for further verification of my submitted details (a clear ePhilID downloaded from PSA was used as my ID).

    Meron akong Globe Prepaid, and they're fine.

    • Did you get an SMS confirmation that your sim's already registered the first time around? I'm on a Smart Bro prepaid sim and haven't received any notifications/indications that I need to re-submit anything since getting registered last April.

      • The first one, yes, and they gave me free 2GB of data. The second one, none. The odd thing is on Giga Life app, my number was indicated as "registered," and now it disappears.

        • Huh, weird. Where did you get the message that you needed to re-submit? Might be time to contact Smart directly. My Giga Life shows that I'm still registered so hopefully that doesn't go away.

          • Nope. Every time na iveverify ko ang number ko sa portal, it directs me to fill-up form. Try mo sa iyo. Hindi naman ganito after I registered my SIM last January, in fact I was expecting a call or text from Smart. My number is only busy with my Viber chats.

            • I don't have the registered badge next to my number (as indicated in the Smart help article), but I already claimed the free data so 🤷

              It's a backup sim anyways, if it gets unregistered next month then c'est la vie, I guess.

              • I cannot engage live chat with Smart because a Fuckbook account is necessity to contact them. Fuck this. I'll migrate my Maya account and bank accounts to my Globe Prepaid number, or port out my number from Smart to Globe (This number was origin from Globe Prepaid lol)

                Oh wait. I recently verified my other SIM (Globe prepaid), and it has 2 edit attempts for this year to edit information and it is already registered as indicated on their portal.
