Ukrainska Pravda was founded in 2000. It’s the best English-language source I know of for general news specifically about Ukraine.
Generally, I repost stuff here from a variety of other communities and RSS feeds, if it seems relevant. This is one of those. Is that alright with you?
No. The source is crap. There is no domain info. The newspaper was sold in 2021, and it is owned by Goldman Sachs and Soros. On top, they use ai a lot more than they admit. Looks Like the whole thing was written by ai.
I'm going to post a few more "Ukraine doing good in the war" stories, just to irritate you. 🙂
If you have a real reason why this might not be a reliable source, instead of just finding some random claims to use to attack it for random reasons, feel free to say them. "Looks like the whole thing was written by AI" isn't that. A good example of what would be, would be finding a story that's easy to demonstrate is not true, or show a pattern of misleadingly presented stories, or show an analysis from some expert showing indications that they're up to no good. In the meantime I plan to keep using it.
Edit: I ran out of motivation before I found even one story that seemed fully appropriate to post. And, really, it's probably not reasonable for me to slant the balance of the stories in the community just to make a point to one commenter for petty reasons. I'll be keeping an eye out for good ones for the next few days, though.
