I made a joke about how Russia was a bit behind in video game tech in the 90’s and got banned, lol.

The community bans also include communities that aren't moderated by any instance admins, and some that are only moderated by a single person who likely isn't aware of actions taken under their community's name.

Blocking that instance improved my Lemmy experience dramatically.
Imagine if people just did that, instead running around like their hair is on fire crying “did you see that ??!?!? Those people have different views !!!!!!!!”
Next, imagine people blocking them, and moving on, instead of chirping about it like they got a new high score .
