Pretty cool news. Hopefully it leads to a bigger role with Team USA in the future.

Trading 3 second round picks for a first round swap with the Suns in 2026
I like this a lot. Low risk, high reward. Essentially betting we'll be better than them by then.

Anthony Black Summer League Debut! 17/5/5 with 3 steals
Man, this kid looks good. The size is legit. He's going to be a match up nightmare on both sides of the ball. If he can get that 3 pointer to league average he could share the backcourt with Fultz too at times. I think we definitely got another piece to the puzzle with him.

I'm hype as hell for this kid. Legit ball handling at 6'7" and defensive versatility. We're really trying to build a team where we can literally switch everyone on defense. We're going to be fielding some lineups where he's our shortest guy on the court lol. Can't wait to see what this team looks like next season.

ESPN Sources: The Orlando Magic are promoting Anthony Parker to GM, replacing longtime league executive John Hammond who’s decided to transition into a senior advisory role.
Surprise semi-retirement move from Hammond. Anthony Parker did make the Lakeland team a G-League champion, so that's a better record already than most people out there can show.
Also, some promotions in the structure, namely Pete D'Alessandro moving into VP of Basketball Operations. I have no opinion of him in this role, but I'll say I was not happy when we hired him into our org based on his record with the Kings and how their fan base celebrated getting rid of him.

If you're interested in being a mod, let me know!
Hopped on the NBA sub here hoping for better discussion than reddit and noticed there was no Magic sub. It was super easy to make, so I just went ahead and did it lol. But being a mod is not something I've done before and probably won't be able to maintain as this place (hopefully) grows on my own.
Hoping to make this place a lively home for discussion!

The Orlando #Magic have guaranteed the contracts of guards Gary Harris and Markelle Fultz for the 2023-24 season, the @orlandosentinel learned via league sources on Friday
No Bol guarantees yet, as the final day for the decision on him has moved forward. We have a logjam at the guards position, but I don't see that necessarily as a bad thing in today's league.
