Office paper
One of the last things I'd expect to make me happy. Previously I used the cheapest paper there was, thinking "paper is paper". This time I decided to try buying the "Silky smooth texture" 120g/m² (instead of the usual 80g/m²) paper. It was 3x as expensive.
I just got it. Holly hell! It's so white, so smooth, the thickness is just right, ink doesn't leak through it, text looks much better on it. It feels so good, I can't stop touching it and looking at it.
I am 17, I definitely wouldn't expect office paper to make me happy, but here we are
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Why I think an hour long conversation about life insurance is a happy story
I haven't been able to get life insurance for almost 20 years, because I had cancer.
I just celebrated 20 years being cancer free, then I had a scheduled call with a life insurance person named Ashley.
I've been through a lot of things in my life, I've talked to a lot of people, but I don't think anyone has ever gotten to know me more in an hour than Ashley did.
She asked questions with aplomb, with grace, dignity and a certain essence of care that you don't really see.
But man... I have got to say, answering those questions about the last decades of strife were really quite disconcerting.
Ashley was, and is, an amazing person. She may have taken me down the dark backroads of my life, but she made it pleasant... somehow. I should call her back and ask for her supervisor so I can give her kudos. Let me rephrase that. I will call her back and ask for her supervisor.
