It's been a bit quiet for Everton so far but things are hotting up.

> MSP entered a period of exclusivity with Moshiri at the beginning of the summer. The development came after months of discussions, with founders Jeff Moorad and Jahm Najafi present at Goodison Park for the defeat to Southampton in January. Investment designed to help progress continue with the new stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock is now close to being signed off.

Not being able to complete the new stadium would be pretty disastrous for the redevelopment of that part of the docks.

My granddad learned to swim in the Stanley Dock and was a dock gate man for decades, so I feel sentimentally attached to the area.

> Everton value in-demand striker Ellis Simms at between £7 million and £10 million, according to Paul Joyce from The Times.
