I saw a number of these beautiful corvids during a recent road trip down the Pacific Coast Highway. This particular individual allowed me to get quite close, which was much appreciated as I was shooting with a 24-70mm. I did notice that just about every Raven I saw was being constantly bothered by smaller birds. You can see two such antagonists here along the fence.

Resources/Recommendations for learning calls?
I have a few birds near my house that I hear almost daily and I would love to learn more about. But obviously Googling a call is difficult. Any tips or ideas for identifying the calls? I'm in the Pacific NW of the US if that helps.
